South Evia, which is equally
interesting to Northern Evia as far as tourism is concerned,
has to demonstrate a completely different personality from
the one of Northern part, integrating the multiformity of
the touristic qualities of Evia.
Only
50 Km from Attica, south Karistia can rightfully be
considered as the easternmost suburb of the Greek capital.
At the same time it is the northernmost island of Kiklades.
The ferries of N. Stira, Almiropotamos, Marmari

and
Karistos, have a very frequent traffic connection
with the shores of Attica

on
an every day basis, while the road system of Chalkida -
Krieza - Stira - Karistos and Chalkida - Aliveri -
Kimi (satisfying in general) are creating the conditions
of an easy transportation of the passengers towards Southern
and Eastern Evia.
