Agdines are some of the villages of Telethrio, and a visit
to them will affirm that we are not using just a figure of
speech. The traffic road system leading to them is in
general in good shape.
We
also come across sites of equal beauty as we proceed
southern, like the forests of Kerasia in Drimonas or to the
picturesque gulches of the mountains around Kerasia
and Agia Anna.
To
the east, we have big forests of unique beauty and variety,
which are extending from Galatsona and Agdines
to Tsapournia, Ellinika and Vasilika,
reaching the coastline of northeastern Evia.
Another
kind of beauty, more wild and virgin, awaits the visitor of Kantili
and of the barrows of Pixarias.
Starting
points for excursions are Prokopi, Spathari, Dafnousa,
Vlachia, Sarakiniko and some other graphic
villages of the municipalities of Elimnio and Kireas.
